Beige Area Rug
Can I use any color with black / silver accent furniture?
My sofas are black with silver accent and coffee / entertainment center is black. I really would like to add some color other than black or white to the living area..starting with an area rug. The floor is smooth beige concrete and walls are same color.
What colors do you think would go well with the ones above? Maybe a dark dark blue or purple? I just can’t see any of the other pastels for some reason.
I don’t think you can go wrong with any color seeing as your base are neutrals and black. Just have to put in my two cents to save you some trouble down the road, though. Get a RUG PAD, whatever you do. Concrete floors hold too much moisture in them and will cause a rug to get dry rot if it is in direct contact with the concrete for any length of time. If a rug pad is out of the budget, at the very least, cover the area with trash bags or plastic before you put the rug down on the ground.
