Egyptian Cotton Sheets
Why is Egyptian cotton so much softer than regular cotton?
I have a sheet fetish and noticed once you break in the Egyptian cotton sheets they are like way softer than regular cotton, what do they do to it to make it so nice?
By break in I mean like wash them a few times, btw
Egyptian cotton (also known as pima or extra long staple) has unusually long and silky fibers. When combined with the high thread count those sheets usually have, it explains the luxurious and soft feeling. Egyptian cotton also naturally contains chemicals that make it insect resistant with anti fungal properties.
