what to use with this type of incense/potpourri burner?
A couple years back, I bought an incense/potpourri burner, but now I’m not sure what I should be buying to burn in it. I originally bought big bottles of product with it, which was more like liquid than the oils some people use in their incense burners. The part that “holds” the product can hold around 10oz. You’re suppose to put a tea light candle under it. Help? I think I should be buying liquid potpourri, but all I ever find about using liquid potpourri point me to electric burners or using the stove… would a tea candle really be enough to get any fragrance?
I have one of those and I use liquid potpourri all the time. Just make sure to check that the liquid wont turn thick. It wont happen immediately, but it can happen every three or four times you use it. Replace the liquid for fresh one when it becomes thick. When I run out of liquid potpourri, I pour some water, some vanilla extract and/or cinnamon sticks, and create my own liquid potpourri.
