Spoon Rest in the shape of a cucumber or pickle?
My friend’s beloved spoonrest was broken by my significant other. I am trying to replace it (The spoonrest, silly, not my S.O.) Does any one know where I buy or have a spoonrest made in the shape of a cucumber or pickle. I have checked at Bed, Bath, & Beyond; Linens & Things; Wal-Mart, K-Mart, Target, Dollar Stores, Walgreens, etc. I just don’t know where else to look. Can any one help me out? Thanks
Believe it or not, those ‘Everything $1.00′ stores usually carry odd things like that… and I’d ask the friend if she would mind something in the same colors but not necessarily the same exact veggie design…. that way you might have better luck… as if the spoon rest was sentimental nothing can replace the value anyway except knowing that her friend cared enough to keep on a wild search to find one exactly like it ~smile~
Otherwise, I’d just go to a ceramic shop and tell them what I needed, they could make one if they don’t have one in stock!
