Pin light bulbs go on/off ?
Light bulbs go off after several days in my 2 new Wilmette / Tech pendant lights, 35W halogen bi-pin bulbs. Removing and re-installing bulb fixes them, they will work for several days, then go out again (first by buzzing / flickering, then out completely). Pin sockets are snug, not loose. Both pendants are behaving this way, (bulbs don’t go off at exactly the same time, but similar). Tried new bulb, same behavior. Ideas? I’ve been careful not to touch the bulb glass when changing them. Thanks,
sounds like its in the fixture,not the bulbs,some of them have a felsafe switch in them,and if they get to hot that’s what happens,i had some canister light fixtures that did the same thing,after i removed the insulation from around them it stopped.
